Books

Stories have always been my way of understanding the world.

My books grow out of my work as a teacher, storyteller, and observer of everyday life—where curiosity, uncertainty, and discovery are not problems to solve, but invitations to explore. Across both children’s literature and educational writing, I return to the same idea: learning happens through experience, relationship, and the meanings we create for ourselves.

Children’s Books

In Development

I write stories for thoughtful, sensitive readers—children who notice deeply, ask questions, and sometimes feel unsure of their place in the world.

Inspired by Montessori philosophy and years of teaching, my stories explore emotional resilience, curiosity, courage, and self-trust. Rather than offering clear moral lessons, they invite children to think, interpret, and arrive at their own understanding. The goal is not perfection, but confidence born from exploration.

  • Frankbert & The Dragon

A timid mouse hides behind borrowed confidence until an unexpected encounter challenges him to listen to his own voice. Through a series of trials guided by a wise and surprising teacher, Frankbert learns that true courage comes not from pretending to be fearless, but from discovering who he already is.

These stories are written for children who learn through imagination, play, and reflection—and for the adults who want to protect that kind of learning.

  • A Fish Out of Water

When a young fish finds itself in unfamiliar waters, everything that once felt natural suddenly becomes uncertain. Through encounters with new environments and unexpected companions, the fish learns that feeling out of place is not a failure, but an invitation to adapt, observe, and rediscover confidence from within. A Fish Out of Water is a story about identity, resilience, and the quiet transformation that happens when we learn to belong to ourselves before belonging anywhere else.

  • In the Shadow of Pumpkins

A young child goes through his day, playfully imaginging mundane things as wild adventures. As he shifts perspectives, the adventures become even more spectacular!

  • Shear Confidence

A humble sheep has no idea how much joy she brings the neighboring children

Illustration & Collaboration

My children’s book projects are developed in collaboration with illustrator James Parisi, whose visual storytelling complements my narrative focus on curiosity, emotion, and discovery.

A Note on My Work

Whether writing for children or adults, I’m interested in stories that invite participation rather than instruction. I believe readers—like learners—deserve space to interpret, imagine, and make meaning for themselves.
